Terrace Croft Wedding | Ariana + Johnny

Wow!! there really are no words that could even begin to explaion how absolutely amazing this day was. Ariana & Johnny are the nicest, kindst souls ever. Our morning started with the girls getting ready at accomodation at Terrce Croft, the girls all got hair & makeup done and shared bubbles to calm the nerves.

I visited the boys who were getting ready at Ariana & Johnny’s home, there morning consisted of a bbq, lots of laughs and whiskey shots. Ariana’s mum & dad walked her down the isle which was so special.

Ariana, Johnny and myself went on the most incredible helipcopter ride to one of their favourite spots that they go hunting at, the night before also had the most incredible dump of snow, to say it was magical was an understatement, we had the best time and got some incredible photos!

Soooo grateful to these two for choosing me to be a part of their special day ❤️❤️

Love note from Arian & Johnny ❤️

WOOOOOOWWW was all we could say for a really long time!! The photos that Tracey has been able to create for us was very special. When you have such an important day like a wedding which will be one day you will never forget, you definitely dream of having the best photos and memories created, and Tracey achieved it perfectly. The photos are natural, romantic, fresh, soft, moody, and magical all at the same time! It is insane how that can be achieved but it was. We are so honoured and grateful we found Tracey because we felt so comfortable with her and she gave us her everything, and worked so hard! Tracey never stops moving, however you never notice her presence a lot of the time because she is very natural and knows how to get those beautiful candid shots of happiness and emotion. It was funny looking through some of the photos and we were like “omg when did she manage to get that photo!” or “how on earth did she capture that moment!”, it was surreal! We want to say a huge thank you to Tracey for all of her hard work and for having such incredible photography skills!! We are very blessed to have these memories forever and it would not have been possible without her.

words from Ariana ….

1/ Why did you choose your venue?

We chose our venue based on the style and its location. We wanted to make it really easy for ourselves and our guests to attend. Plus the style, being a french country style, was everything we were looking for. An added bonus was Vicks, the owner, she was incredible to deal with!

2/ What was your favorite part of the day?

Our favourite part of the day was our helicopter flight. It was a moment both of us could take time to appreciate that we just got married! It was a moment where we could connect away from everyone’s attention and just breathe and enjoy each other’s company.

3/ What was the easiest part of one of your vendors, building up to and on the actual day too?

The easiest vendor we had was Country Feasts catering. I remember them being completely all over everything. I don’t actually think I explicitly directed them on what they needed to do for the day, they just did it! We were pleasantly surprised with the service the bar staff from Country Feasts gave to our guests. They kept the drinks coming and kept the tables clear all evening, which we hadn’t asked or paid for that service. They were just fantastic.

4/ Where did you guys meet and how long have you been together (how he proposed etc)

We first met as young teenagers through mutual friends while hunting. We started dating when we were 19 and have been together for 7 years. In March 2021, we went out diving off the coast of Bluff. Johnny started acting strange and got out of the water and onto the boat for a “rest”, which he never does while diving. At that point he got down on one knee and proposed. It was a surreal and exciting surprise and he pulled it off without a hitch.

5/ What advice would you give to people planning their wedding.

My advice to others planning a wedding would be not to let anyone influence your decisions. Also, as a side note, no all weddings need to be the traditional type. There are so many different ways to do a wedding now so if you feel that traditional is not your thing, then think outside the square.
