Trent’s Vineyard, Christchurch … Wow! What can I say, this day was truly magical and filled with so much love and laughter (my cheeks actually hurt so much ?). I was so honored when Jayne + Matt asked me to be their photographer for their wedding at Trent’s Vineyard in January, they were one of the coolest, and chilled-out couples I have met. So naturally, I knew it was going to be a goodie. Jayne + Matt met on the Goldcoast through friends, they were in a flat full of ok kiwis from Timaru. 11 years on here they are embarking on the most important journey of their lives ❤️.

Why did you choose your venue?

We both immediately knew it was “the spot” and canceled all our other venue viewings! It was very “us” … outdoors, lots of trees, brickwork & rustic timber inside, everything all in one spot (ceremony, photos, fully managed reception venue) and of course being able to have our dog there for the day. Trent’s Vineyard, in Christchurch, was just perfect for us.

I love shooting at Trent’s Vineyard which is based only 20 minutes outside of Christchurch. It’s the ideal spot it has everything there, you can have your ceremony & reception and do all the bridal party photos in one spot. The Ceremony area is just stunning situated under the trees, it’s a great spot to protect from harsh sunlight and also shelter from the winds, so a great option for different weather conditions. It has a huge area at the side of the building with big open spaces and rows of vines that make for beautiful photos, you can pack a picnic basket for the bridal party and just enjoy some time away celebrating with each other and your bridal party, relax have some champers and create some epic memories. The staff always go above and beyond for their couples which makes it such a pleasure to be back at Trent’s Vineyard once again.

What was your favorite part of the day?

All of it! Having some time with just the two of us during the photos was amazing as it was the only time we really took for just ourselves. I guess that proves we had an excellent photographer, forgetting she was there.

What was the easiest part of one of your vendors, building up to and on the actual day too?

They were all pretty awesome 🙂 As much as I always think I can do everything myself getting the experts involved is definitely more than worth it
